Web access to Geographic Information System (GIS)

Ministry of Mining and Energy is now able to offer to potential investors a new service - Web-GIS - a new tool that provides our customers with Internet access to our GIS database, including licensed areas, mining and geological exploration areas  etc. 

This service maximizes free information disclosure, while maintaining the confidentiality of selected information.

The reconstruction of the ash transport and disposal system in the TPP started

Within the project on environment protection promotion, the reconstruction of the ash transport and disposal system started today in the Thermal Power Plant „Nikola Tesla B"in Obrenovac.

The project is financed by the European Union donation in the amount of € 28 million.

The new ash and slag transport and disposal system will enable ten times reduction in water quantity used for those activities - thereby protecting underground

German- Serbian project of ecological clean-up of the mining sector starts

The realisation of the project on ecological clean-up of the Serbian mining sector has begun today in the Ministry of Energy and Mining. The aim of the project is to acquaint local experts and managers with successful examples of ecological clean-up and modernisation in the coal and energy production through lectures, workshops, roundtables and established contacts.
