"The company is implementing important projects for the energy stability of the state and improving the business of "Elektroprivreda Srbije". Revitalization of HPP "Djerdap 1" is one such project and I am glad that we can talk about other steps of modernization of existing electricity capacities. The Energy Development Strategy and the National Climate and Energy Plan bring the phases of the transition to renewable energy sources by 2040 with a vision by 2050. Part of the strategy concerns the use of green and blue hydrogen. At the same time, one of the main goals is to raise energy efficiency. We will soon present our book of projects and all Russian companies are welcome, not only "Silovije masini", said Mihajlovic.
Kiril Maksimov, Deputy General Director of "Silovije masini", j.s.c., said that the company is interested not only in the revitalization of HPP "Djerdap 1" which should be ready by the end of next year, but also in the project of revitalization of "Djerdap 2" and reconstruction of the Thermal Power Plant "Nikola Tesla", as well as for future capacities.
"We would like to be included in the process of energy transition in Serbia and to help make the existing equipment in power plants more energy efficient." We also want to participate in the construction of new plants, "said Maksimov.
