Preparation of the final text of the Roadmap for energy support in the Republic of Serbia

Dear all,

We would like to inform you that the preparation of the final text of the Roadmap for energy support in the Republic of Serbia is in progress and you can follow it on the "E-consultation" portal (https://ekonsultacije.gov.rs).

Namely, in order to ensure the financial sectoral budget support of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, and as part of the Package of the State and Resilience Building Contract, the harmonization of the text of the Roadmap for energy support with all interested parties is an extremely important process, for the further development of energy stability in the Republic of Serbia.

The Roadmap will focus on immediate needs to avoid energy poverty among vulnerable households, support small and medium-sized enterprises in ensuring business continuity, and continue the path on clean energy transition, including by diversifying its energy sources. The Roadmap is being developed in cooperation with the European Commission and should strengthen the current response to the general energy crisis.

The Roadmap contains immediate, short-term, medium-term and long-term measures that are needed to ensure that the Republic of Serbia can increase its energy security and efficiency, taking into account the obligations arising from the normative frameworks of the European Union and the Energy Community.

In order to produce the highest quality act, the Ministry of Mining and Energy is conducting consultations with the aim of preparing the final text of the Roadmap for the Energy Support in the Republic of Serbia.

In this regard, the relevant document is available on the website https://ekonsultacije.gov.rs/topicOfDiscussionPage/102/1 and we kindly invite you to contribute to the consultation process with your comments.

We kindly ask you to provide your comments by Thursday, Decembar 15th 2022.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
