The Public Procurement Group performs activities related to: drafting a procurement plan and monitoring the implementation of the plan; drafting of internal acts which regulate the public procurement procedure in more detail; preparation of documentation for the implementation of public procurement procedures related to centralized public procurement; preparation of public invitation, tender documentation, collection and recording of bids, organization of public opening and evaluation of bids, implementation of open procedure, negotiated procedure and small value procurement procedure, etc. for the needs of the Ministry; drafting contracts with selected bidders; giving opinions and explanations regarding participation in the public procurement procedure; making a proposal for a decision on the request for protection of the bidder's rights; performing professional work for the Public Procurement Commission; preparation and submission of reports to the competent authorities; cooperation with the Public Procurement Directorate; keeping records and reporting on concluded contracts, as well as other activities within the scope of the Group.
