Sector for Inspection Supervision performs activities related to: inspection supervision according to the law regulating energy, the law regulating efficient use of energy and other laws and regulations in the field of electric power; the law governing the pipeline transport of gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons and the distribution of gaseous hydrocarbons, the law governing market surveillance and other laws and regulations in the field of pressure equipment; inspection supervision over the performance of energy activities according to the law governing market supervision, supervision over the application of regulations in the field of use of renewable energy sources; supervision over the application of regulations on the formation of operational reserves, on the quality of energy and energy sources and regulations in the field of thermal energy; inspection supervision over the implementation of laws and other regulations, standards and technical norms related to the exploitation of mineral resources and the construction and use of mining facilities in which the activity of surface, underground and underwater exploitation of mineral resources is performed, as well as those related to operation of electric power plants and devices in mining facilities; inspection supervision over the implementation of laws and other regulations in this area regarding the fulfillment of conditions for conducting geological research of mineral raw materials, groundwater and geothermal resources, as well as inspection supervision over the conduct of geological research; inspection supervision over the application of measures for protection of safety and health at work in conducting geological research, as well as other activities within the scope of the Sector.
