The Section for Geological Inspection carries out the activities related to the: inspection of the enforcement of laws and other regulations in this area regarding the fulfilment of conditions for performance of geological explorations of mineral raw materials, groundwater and geothermal resources, as well as inspection of the performance of geological exploration; inspection of the implementation of the measures of protection of occupational health and safety in the course of performance of geological explorations; conducting on-site investigations in the event of a fatal or group accident and preparing a reasoned report including an opinion on the causes of the accident and submitting it to the competent authorities, as well as other activities within the scope of the activity of the Section.
