The Electrical Inspection Division carries out the activities related to the: inspection according to the law regulating the energy sector, the law regulating efficient use of energy and other laws and regulations in the field of electric power; preparation of reports on the fulfilment of conditions and requirements determined by technical regulations for carrying out of energy activity at requests of energy entities; preparation of reports on the fulfilment of the prescribed conditions in terms of professional staff for performing energy activities at the requests of energy entities; preparation and implementation of joint actions with inspection bodies of other bodies; cooperation with other departments in the Ministry and other services and professional organizations in regards to the with the inspection of the implementation of preventive maintenance on electrical facilities and ensuring of secure and uninterrupted supply of electricity, as well as other activities within the scope of activity of the Division.
